Click on the Orange Fish to go to the "Youth's Website!" "Straight Up Ministries" is the name of our youth group here at Aldersgate UMC. As the Director of Student Ministries, I have the privilege of working with teens in all walks of faith. Some of them are new learners and others have been believers for many years. Taking this into consideration, our youth program has many different elements to help EVERYONE experience the gift of God's love in a way that is comfortable for their own personal style. My purpose is to be an advocate for youth and help them become advocates for each other, while guiding them into a deeper relationship with Christ; as well as to create a community where all youth feel included and loved as children of God. Come and join us! You never know what we may have planned! It could be a wild night of games, or a serious night where we discuss hot topics, our faith, and our feelings...or maybe, we'll be going off campus to serve others in the community. But then again, we could be just hangin' out....with our Christian friends that we call "family." Jr. High Youth Group is Sunday nights 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Sr. High Youth Group is Sunday nights 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Youth worship for both groups is from 7:00-7:30 p.m. Let me know if you have any questions.
